Hi there, Is there any more recent info on Rhyl? i.e. 60’s 70’s 80’s etc. rather that 1800 – 1920’s30’40’ etc.? I am particularly interested to find out if anyone remembers a Boutique dress shop called Sherry’s? The Army & Navy store opposite this, and Hulson’s Bakery? I can’t find any pics of these anywhere. Any views would be appreciated. K

Thank you………..a wonderful set of old Rhyl films……….the Royal Visit is a superb record of a celebration that i have difficulty in imagining us having today. There are so many topics to debate that arise from the ‘changed times’ ……….sadly the one that sticks in my mind is how horses and pedestrians were happily able to walk the same streets…..we have enough difficulties with doggies today!
