Our enjoyable and successful season is drawing to a close, with only our annual trip remaining (see details below), before we break for the Summer. Many thanks to all our speakers who have entertained and informed us with topics many and various, including “The Belgian Refugees in Rhyl”, “The Mimosa and the Patagonia Settlement”, “Gwylfa Hiraethog, Denbigh Moors” and many more.
Our May meeting took us out of our room at Rhyl Community Fire Station to Christ Church Chapel in Water Street where we learnt all about its history via a talk, a tour, and a small exhibition – many thanks to Susan Clayton and Robert Scott for all their hard work. Below are some photographs from our tour. To read about the history of Christ Church, click here.
Here are the details of our forthcoming trip:
We look forward to seeing members old and new in September, details of our new programme will appear on these pages
