In November we published “some corner of a foreign field” which tells of the search for relatives of Walter Price Roberts, Rhyl who is buried in the Giavera British Cemetery, Italy.
The inscription on Walter’s grave reads:
“May some loving hand gently place some flowers for me, his mother”
Diane Gassman, who lives in Italy, originally contacted History Points with the enquiry, and they passed it on to us at Rhyl History Club.
Today, the Daily post has featured the story – read it by clicking here.
