The Belgian Refugees in Rhyl

In March 2012 this website published a little article about the arrival in Rhyl of the Belgian refugees.  They arrived 100 years ago in October 1914.  To see it again follow the link:

As a result of reading the article, Rhyl Tourist Information Centre undertook a project about the Belgian refugees coming to Rhyl, which can be seen on their very interesting website.

Their project took them to Aarschot in Belgium and an exhibition can be seen in the Rhyl Tourist Information Centre at the Children’s Village on the promenade.
