Also I think the first photo might be the Islamic Cultural Centre on Water Street
You’re correct with the first photo Emma, it is the Islamic Cultural Centre in Water Street. It was the “Tabernacle” Welsh Baptist Chapel. It was built in 1866/7 to Richard Owen’s design, who also designed Mynydd Seion in Abergele.
Keep going with the second photo, it’s not on the Town Hall.
The second photo is part of the insciption on one of the foundation stones of the Pavilion. It is situated alongside the path near the Morley Rd entrance of the Morley Road Cemetry Park
